Emotional maturity, brings with it, the acceptance of both sides of Love…
How do these images make you feel?
Do they make you feel uncomfortable, angry, threatened or maybe even repulsed?
As we are all part of one race…the ‘human race’, it’s nonsensical to call someone a racist.
However, if you hold any negative thoughts or opinions about the types of ethnically diverse relationships shown, you could be considered xenophobic or prejudice.
We all have the right to exercise choice, if it’s only our ‘preference’ to date and marry within our own ethnicity or colour, that’s a choice.
However, if we only date and marry within our own ethnic group or colour, at the denigration of people from other ethnic groups or colours, that’s prejudice.
In saying that…those who ‘only’ date or look to marry people outside of their ethnic group or colour also display a dislike or loathing, against, none other, than themselves.
They also have deep-rooted issues which may only be helped by visits to a specialist.
Men and women being drawn together, is one of life’s most natural occurrences, irrespective of colour or ethnic background.
The urge to procreate and bring about new generations, is in the majority of us.
Relationships and marriages, irrespective of colour or ethnicity, can survive and flourish if the individuals share the same, ideals, beliefs and values.
